Bluetooth Pilot

With our battery-powered Bluetooth Pilot a pilot can easily access the own-ships data as well as data of all other AIS vessels and objects.

On many ships unfortunately the AIS Pilot Plug is not mounted where it is supposed to be by the IMO, but in some remote corner.

The solution to this is our Bluetooth Pilot. Just connect it to the AIS Pilot Plug (whereever it is) and have the AIS data transmitted to your mobile PC. The Bluetooth Pilot comes with a rechargable battery for 15 to 18 hours of use and transmits as far as 100 meters (Bluetooth Class 1). The modular design of the Bluetooth adapter and battery pack allows the use of a second battery pack to enhance operational time.

Technical details:

  • Bluetooth Class 1 device with 100 m nominal range
  • Low power consumption with 15-18 h operational time
  • Battery pack rechargeable with charger (220V) or via USB-Port
  • fully compatible with AIS Pilot Plug
  • Wireless design ensure optical isolation and surge protection
  • Light weight: less than 300 g including battery and cables.

 

The pilots mobile PC must also be equipped with a Bluetooth Class 1 Adapter. If you do not already have one it is available through our webshop.
